What is Blyk?

Blyk is a free English mobile network that gives a customer a set amount of free minutes and texts per month. The customer doesn not pay anything for the phone contract, but instead gives permission to receive specified advertising on their phones (the phone must be able to support internet servers). They are required to fill in a profile upon signing up for the blyk service, this allows Blyk to send the customer specific advertising. This works in the advantage of the consumer (they get no spam) and of the advertiser (they reach their demographic efficiently).
